Align & Flow
This slower-paced flow class emphasizes longer holds to maximize the flow of energy in the body to experience greater stability, freedom and ease in each pose. Expect to experience a range of postures (standing, seated, inverted, prone and supine), traditional and modified sun salutations, breath work and a closing relaxation. Modifications are always encouraged, making the class suitable for all levels.
A slow, flowing sequence of foundational and restorative postures, calming breath techniques and guided relaxation to relieve stress, stretch away tightness, and be at peace in yourself. Release muscle tensions, ease joint stiffness, gain flexibility, and gently strengthen. All levels, and appropriate for beginners, injury recovery, and pre-natal.
Take your practice to the next level as you explore more advanced variations of postures, arm balances and inversions. Familiarity with the Vigorous Vinyasa class is encouraged, and is not an appropriate class for beginners. Please check with the instructor if you have any questions.
Meditation & Book Club
Meditation is a practice of techniques to quiet the mind, still active thoughts, and cultivate concentration that leads to a calmer mind, clarity of thoughts, reduced stress or anxiety, and a sense of peace. Through scientific and medical research, more and more facts are being revealed and understood regarding the effectiveness and value of integrating meditation into busy, stressful lifestyles.
This group provides a quiet and supportive space for connection with others who share an interest in meditation. No previous experience is necessary.
Our session begins with the discussion of our current book of choice, followed by a 20-30 minute meditation.
